Darius Gordon's shot at the buzzer lifted the Bees past the Lions with zero points to spare. Bayonne finished the game just one point on top of Lincoln, 62-61, at the HCIAA Coviello match-up yesterday in Jersey City.
Marist lost to North Bergen after North Bergen managed to storm out 22 points alone in the first quarter.

Joshua Rosa points out a pair of shoes to his mother in the Foot Locker located along Broadway. Joshua received a hundred dollar certificate from the the Cal Ripken Baseball League in Bayonne as a part of their program to help raise money for children who are in need of shoes for the holidays.About 50 Bayonne kids got free sneakers for Christmas in the annual drive conducted by the Bayonne Cal Ripken League in cooperation with the local Foot Locker.

The Recspy Awards, similiar to the Espy Awards, will honor the year's best individual and team accomplishments. The Recspys were chosen with great consideration of team and player attributes. 2008 was a year of great teams, great players and great games
