    McNair's Atia Gleaton has her shot blocked by Holy Family's Diane Forker. Both tall forwards battled throughout the game.

    Holy Family pummeled McNair, 64 to 35, yesterday with Sam Sysak leading the way by scoring 20 points.

    Marist managed to pull off a win over North Bergen after overcoming a third quarter deficit.

    Darius Gordon's shot at the buzzer lifted the Bees past the Lions with zero points to spare. Bayonne finished the game just one point on top of Lincoln, 62-61, at the HCIAA Coviello match-up yesterday in Jersey City.

    Marist
    lost to North Bergen after North Bergen managed to storm out 22 points alone in the first quarter.

    Free sneakers for kids courtesy of Bayonne baseball league

    Joshua Rosa points out a pair of shoes to his mother in the Foot Locker located along Broadway. Joshua received a hundred dollar certificate from the the Cal Ripken Baseball League in Bayonne as a part of their program to help raise money for children who are in need of shoes for the holidays.

    About 50 Bayonne kids got free sneakers for Christmas in the annual drive conducted by the Bayonne Cal Ripken League in cooperation with the local Foot Locker.
