It doesn't take place on a rainy night in a house with a creaky staircase, but is instead set in a memorabilia store. That's fitting, for "Mauritius" is memorable. Better still, the way that Lauren Mills has expertly directed it for the Women's Theater Company in Parsippany, it crackles with as much tension as the best Agatha Christie chillers.
