    Winds of change
    New Jersey has once again chosen to take the lead on one of the most important issues facing the country: climate change. The state Board of Public Utilities voted unanimously on Oct. 3 to award a $4 million grant for a proposed 345.6-megawatt wind farm to Garden State Offshore Energy. Once completed, the project will produce enough energy to light the equivalent of every home in Mercer County. New Jersey is one of only three forward-thinking East Coast states to make the first move toward utilizing clean, abundant sources of energy.
